Sutter had another great day at Folsom Middle School's speech tournament over this weekend on March 29th.
Sutter participated in 55 of the 117 events hosted that day. Five schools from the Sacramento region had participated (sutter, Folsom, Miwok, Granite Bay and Iceberg).
Sutter won the trophy for the highest number of wins!! Attached is a picture of the kids holding the trophy.

CVFL-6 St. Francis HS Speech Tournament
Sutter had a great showing at the CVFL-6 (Capitol Valley Forensic League) High School tournament at St. Francis Catholic High School!!
Sutter placed #5 in sweepstakes among 16 schools (all the rest were high schools)!!
Sutter participated in 36/162 events yesterday and placed in 18 events in the finals!!

2. Karthik Meyyappan placed 2nd in Varsity Impromptu and 1st in Novice International Extemp.

On Saturday, 1/25, SMS hosted our Speech and Debate Tournament on campus. Sutter competed against Miwok, Folsom Middle, Granite Bay and Iceberg. 62/132 participants at the tournament today were from Sutter! A lot of our kids were participating for the first time. I am extremely proud of all the kids who participated and those who won today!!

CVFL High School Speech Tournament at Granite Bay High School:
Sutter kids were 17 of the 300+ event participants at Granite Bay yesterday. It was the largest group that has ever competed in our region.
