CAASPP Testing Information

CAASPP Testing Practice:

Students will be completing their state testing during the week of April 17-21.  Students should practice these tests on the platform we will use prior to taking the actual tests.  Your student can practice at home also. Here are the instructions for taking the practice tests:

Click on this LINK to take the practice tests, then follow these instructions:

1. Guest user and guest sign-in should be turned on.

2. Click on sign in at the bottom.

3. Select the grade you are in.

4. Select a test from the section "Smarter Balanced Practice Tests".

5. Scroll to the bottom, not changing any settings.

6. Click on Select.

7. Click on the play button to check that you have sound (if not, let your teacher know)

8. If you hear the sound, click on the green button that says you can hear the sound. If not, then click on the white button that says you can not hear the sound.

9. After you click on the button that says you can hear the sound, then click on the button at the bottom that says begin test now.

10.  You will now begin the practice tests.  You can not pause a practice test.  Once you leave the test you will exit wherever you are and will not be able to go back in to finish.  If you go back in to practice the tests, you will start a new test from the beginning.
