Ingress and Egress safety

Parents: Please always find a safe place to drop-off/pick-up your student(s) while respecting area businesses and residences. The parking lot on E. Bidwell can become VERY congested before, and especially after, the school day. Parents are encouraged to stagger times -and places- to drop-off or pick-up their student(s).  The ONLY place we ask that you not use is the BUS LOOP on Riley Street.

Students walking or riding to/from school should ALWAYS use marked crosswalks. We have our bus parking and lanes on the Riley Street entrance that will include an exit onto Persifer for our buses ONLY.  This has opened up the Persifer Street pick-up/drop-off yellow zones. Coloma Street can safely be used for pick-up/drop-off next to the baseball field, but not after the street. Lastly, our parking lots are marked for staff to park in from 8 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. every staff work day. The staff work year for 2022-2023 is August 5 through May 26, 2023.  Thank you for helping us keep Sutter students safe!
